What are the Mexican Official Standards?

And government agencies (depending on the issue to be addressed, such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environment, to mention a few).

NOM-006-SSA2-2013: For the prevention and control of tuberculosis
NOM-029-SCFI-2010: COMMERCIAL PRACTICES-INFORMATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROVISION OF TIMESHARE SERVICES.
NOM-071-SCFI-2008: COMMERCIAL PRACTICES-MEDICAL CARE BY DIRECT CHARGE.
NOMs have several purposes. First, they ensure consumer protection by establishing minimum quality and safety requirements. They also promote competitiveness, as companies that comply with these standards can access wider markets.
Complying with NOMs is essential for any company. It helps build consumer confidence, ensures compliance with laws and regulations. Failure to comply with NOM'S can result not only in fines of thousands of pesos, but also in closures and withdrawal of permits to operate, in addition to penalties that may be imposed by other authorities.
